🌟 Welcome to Fading Grace 🌟
A game about a fading memory, a powerful heart, and the will to help—even as the world forgets you.
🧙 Story A great and powerful wizard, after a lifetime of studying magic and sorcery, retires to a quiet village. There, he opens a small shop, offering help to anyone in need. Whether their requests are serious or downright silly, he listens and tries to help them all.
But no matter how deep his desire to do good, his memory begins to slip... And eventually, he fades into forgetfulness.

We’re a small indie team of four:
- Trigeron – Game designer & team lead
- Kissel – Artist
- Alex – Programmer
- Gosha – Programmer
This is our first Game Jam experience—and honestly, our first real shot at making a full game! We know it’s a bit rough around the edges, but we gave it everything we had.

🛠️ The Story Behind the Game
Things didn’t go as planned (surprise!). Originally, our team setup was different, but we lost our main programmer on Day 5 of the Jam. We only managed to bring someone new (Gosha) on board on Day 6.
For the first 4 days, Trigeron and Kissel completed all the basic tasks. But without a dev, we were on the edge of dropping out entirely.
Then Gosha came in, saved the day, and helped us speedrun the core mechanics in just 3 days.
💡 What this project taught us: Even when everything is falling apart, when it feels like fate itself is against you—you can still push forward and make something real. We want to carry that energy into every project we make from now on.
🔧 Known Issues & What’s Coming Next
We're planning to continue development and improve the game. Here's what's on the roadmap:
- Improve debuff mechanics and add proper gameplay impact
- Add icons for all status effects
- Fix bugs & polish technical issues
- Add buffs for good choices and special events
- Introduce random visitor events outside the usual schedule
- Smooth out UI, animations, and overall visual clarity
- Balance gameplay & add better progression + save result system
- Create custom sound effects and original soundtrack
- Make each NPC react uniquely to most of your choices
- Add a comic/animated intro scene
